Thomas is very busy these days...getting into everything! Where is my baby and how did he grow up so fast? It's amazing how much love I have for this little boy. It makes me so thankful for the love my parents have for me and for the love my Father in Heaven has for us- Praise God from whom all blessings flow.

Try Again
Blogger sure is teaching me some patients! Here are the pics again.Well- it has been brought to my attention that I used patients instead of patience- which I am pretty sure are homophones. I guess the months of not teaching are getting to my brain! Oh wait I never taught my kids about homophones anyway.

More Pics Again
More Pics
Oh Happy Day
This weekend we celebrated my brother Mark's birthday. He turned 29. My other brother Chad came home-minus Joanna and John because they were working. So we had a great time together. Thomas also turned 9 months old Saturday. I realized we are all growing up way to fast. I cannot believe how fast Thomas has grown. He is crawling around and loves to stand up! I am going to try to post some pics from this weekend later.

Garage Sale
This morning we (Me, John, and CC) braved the freezing cold temps and had our garage sale. At 6 am we were all ready, but nobody came. So we waited and finally at 7 am people started coming and they came pretty much all morning long! The best part was, that they bought our stuff! YEAH. I did have some flashbacks to the garage sale our small group girls had last April. I was extremely pregnant and we had worked very late the night before getting all of our "treasures" organized. The next morning we didn't really have a great turnout and I think we each made around 10$. However, the most memorable moment was this one shopper who made her purchase for a dollar and then came back for a full exchange and refund! Who gives refunds at garage sales,? I mean you paid a dollar for your "treasure". Anyway back to my story, we got rid of a lot of "treasures", but don't worry we still have some left for the Gateway people. Overall, this garage sale was much more successful than the last one. At one time, there were more people digging through the huge pile of trash (picture below) then looking at what was on display in the garage!

9th try
8th try
I know yall are wondering what is she talking about? I have tried probably 8 times to get the pictures of the trash pile up that, it's not even worth it or funny anymore.
What is all that?
Yes, this is the very large pile of stuff Thomas was calling about for somebody to please come and pick up. It came from one of 2 attics..which means there was another pile this big of trash. So, this morning when I went over to organize all of the "treasures", I saw that the pile had not been picked up and the other pile from earlier in the week was picked up. So, I got in my car and drove around until I found the garbage men. I have to admit I was a little embarrassed, but they were beyond nice and only asked a few questions about what was going on. They assured me they would come back and pick the pile up Tuesday-thank you, thank you, thank you!
In case you didn't know we (the Cross boys) all decided it would be fun to move at the same time. First Daniel(John's brother) decided to build a house in Castlewoods. Then when Paw-Paw(John's dad) saw Daniel's nice house, he decided they would finally move after years of saying "we are going to move". So, then, what do we decide? To buy CC and Paw-Paw's old house, fix it up, and move in! So in the last month and a half, John has worked in booty off (when he is not at the hospital)to get all of CC and Paw- Paw's stuff (30 years of stuff, plus 2 attics) moved into their new house. Next, we gotta move Daniel, and then there is us!
Tomorrow morning, we are having one of the largest garage sales I think I have ever seen. I hope we don't have to pay the people to take the stuff. However, one of the biggest blessing is the Gateway Rescue Mission, they will come to your home and pick up your items to be given away. All complaining aside, we are very excited about our new
old house. This has and will be a major blessing for us as well as lots of space to
raise some kids in! And don't worry, there will be lots of before and after pics. Soooo-if
you know anyone that needs a great 3 bedroom, 2 bath house, please let us know. We
will be putting ours up for sale in a few weeks.
