Tink and the Pirate

The Pirate and Tink Wrestling...she loves it.

Tink in her favorite place. She pulls the cushion out of the chair, climbs up into the chair, stands up, and then jumps.
This little girl is a mess!!!

The Pirate. I got these costumes at the toy sale( same place I got the rocking horses). Thomas loves wearing his around the house. If you live in the neighborhood, he might even be so kind to come to your house. He and his daddy went to the wildlife extravaganza last weekend. John called me on the way home to tell me they had a surprise. I asked if it was alive. No, it wasn't alive.....it was a real wooden sword. As you know with boys, everything can become a sword. Thomas has done pretty good with it. He memorized the 3 rules his daddy told him about the sword. 1. Do not hurt anyone. 2. Do not hurt anything. 3. Use good manners. However, the sword did get broken in half this week, but is being fixed. So, I have told you this story with no picture of the sword. But, because Thomas has a real sword now, he thinks he is a real pirate!

To all our fans.....

Ha...just kidding! I realized I have not posed in a while and since this will be what our kids google when they get older, I better get posting. I do wish I was a better picture taker and scrapbooking mom. But is scrapbooking really the thing to do now since everything is on the computer? All I know is, my kids are growing up way to fast and I just want to remember their childhood. I also want them to be able to look back at pictures....I mean I guess their blog.

Here are the two on their new horses. Got them at a toy consignment sale. For those of yall that now me, I love a consignment sale ( toys or clothes). I went looking for a kitchen and came home with these. But I mean look how cute they are! ( please try to block out all the stuff in the back)
Thomas named them pinky and podie. This is a step up from the stick horses they have. Thomas enjoys riding his stick horse down the street...in his underwear.
We went camping at Jellystone last weekend(-minus Caroline). We had fun. I think the people next to us were glad we only stayed 1 night. Thomas gets up pretty early. Of course I didn't take my camera, but Chrissie did so I can get some pictures from her.

John the builder finished the deck a few weeks ago...here is it. He did a great job.

J...O...B...

Turn your head sideways if you want to look at this picture.
John is employed..:)
Look at the cute other Doc. we got in the house. He has been dressing up (complete with black dress socks in the mornings).
Caroline has realized we have a dog in the backyard and reminds us all the time by saying..."ohhh dawg...ruuf ruuf". She also enjoys sitting on her brother.

July already

Our neighborhood has a 4th of July Parade. This year it included the Fire Truck, Sheriff car, bike riders, 4 wheel riders, our float, a boat, and a few more floats...so it is very unique :). The kids had a great time and that is what matters. Caroline ate suckers the whole time( 2 in each hand at all times). Thomas would unwrap a sucker, take a few licks, and then throw it to people!.

This is July 2008.....Caroline sure has changed!

Our week in review.....

Caroline turned 13 months last weekend. We went to Hburg to celebrate father's day with my family. Caroline posing on the lounge chair. This girl is a mess. She eats constantly, climbs on anything, and loves to wrestle with her brother. Her newest trick this week is to climb on Thomas and sit on his head. She also loves climbing up on his bed, holding on to the headboard, looking back to see if you are watching, and then falling down. She loves life...and other people's food!

We had a great week last week at VBS. I helped with 2nd graders going into 3rd. I was amazed at their knowledge at such a young age. Thomas and C went. Thomas had a great time in the Worship center. He couldn't wait to go every morning. Caroline had fun eating the other kid's snacks/lunch!

And finally......
We are happy to announce that after 7 years of marriage, ( 25 total years of school) my hubby finally has a job. Here is Sha and I with the proof of the newest certificate suitable for framing. We all realized that Sha is pregnant again. She was pregnant with Graham when they graduated medical school and know...baby Ella. We meet I guess 7 years ago when our hubbies planned a trip to the beach. We were going to tent camp(since we had no money) and the boys were going to leave us to play golf. We both told our husbands..."I don't know this girl..Am I going to like her"? Well, I think it worked out ok.Here we are 7 years later.

Miss Caroline walking and eating her cookie at the same time....talent. She is walking more, but still loves he moma's hip!

Thomas at show and tell swim lessons. We love Ms Alicia and Ms. Kerri..

Sorry for the little girl's boo-hiney in this pic.she can climb out of the pool all by herself and that is super important.i kind of thought it was funny!

Here are some more pics from out tball games. Our team has gotten so much better. Or maybe we have just played teams that were 3 and 4 instead of 5!

Thomas, Pop, and Nash. Nash thought Pop was his Granddaddy. He was so cute...he just ran up to Pop and hugged his leg....Nash is one of Caroline's approved dates when she gets to be 30...we know his parents!

2 of the 3 cheer leaders. MB was gone to the beach.

John had to work all last weekend, so my mom came through and we went to see my brother, Chad in Oxford. He just bought a new house...yikes with 2 kids, but we managed to get out of there without breaking anything. T and C were helping him with some yard work. So that is what we have been up to. Learning to swim and learning to play tball. Thomas has the hitting and running down...we are still working on fielding ground balls. Next week we have VBS which should be lots of fun, for all of us

Funny story...John was holding Thomas walking him down for swimming lessons and he tooted. John said what was that. Thomas said my boo-hiney was talking....
