My uneventful blog

After viewing several other blogs, I realized that mine is very uneventful with all the video clips, slide shows, etc etc etc....mine is just plain boring. When I look at the pictures on my camera, I realize they are all of my child eating...humm hope I don't give him some kind of complex when he gets older. The only thing I really know how to do is change the color of my page! Ha. Anywho, I wanted to blog about my friend Betsy. We took her to dinner last night to celebrate her retirement from teaching. She put in a GREAT 28 years. If you think about it that is a long long time, not to mention how many kids she taught to read. She was such a great role model to me when I first started teaching and a great friend. I would post a picture, but I didn't bring my camera. We ate at Alladin's Medateranian Grill( I know I did not spell that right). I really like it, you get a lot of food for not a lot of dough and they have really good hummus.

TEETH

Thomas has been running fever since Friday. We think it is due to his teeth because nothing else seems to be hurting him..hum???? These better be some good teeth when they finally come in.
We were suppose to close on our house Friday, but the paperwork was not all correct....so we are going to try again tomorrow. Hopefully everything will be correct and we can get our check:() )

WOW

What a crazy few weeks! We sold our house and have moved. Can't believe I went this long without blogging!!! The Lord took such great care of us, as HE always does. We sold the house on Thomas's birthday and did not have to list it with a realator. I will post some pictures when things slow down and I actually find our camera.

Thomas is a walking man now that he is 1. He had a great birthday and loved eating the icing only off his cake. Thanks to everyone who shared in his birthday joy.

"Big Girl"

So if you want a good old laugh, check these picks out of the "big girl". In order to get ready for the big birthday, let me take you back to this time last year. The "party started" (contractions) on a Friday night and Thomas was not born until Wednesday afternoon. So, that means from Friday until Wednesday we:
- went to the hospital with contractions and got sent home
-stayed up every night with contractions
-finally got a ticket to the hospital on Wednesday morning.
Of course it was all worth it and the Lord has blessed us beyond what we could have every prayed for. It reminds me of the verse- No eye has seen, no ear has hear, what God has instore for those who love Him.
